Jess Downey has been the editor of Real Woman magazine and realwomanonline.com since its inception. During her publishing career, she has worked as an editor on consumer and trade magazines in New York, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia.
She spent the last 10 years helping companies create new brands and reinvent their existing content channels and publications. Jess shepherded Real Woman to the Content Council's gold Pearl Award for Best New Magazine and was nominated for Best Overall Magazine. She also frequently writes for national magazines and websites, including Yoga Journal, Runner's World, Parenting, Natural Health, Destinations, Learnvest.com, and Forbes.com. Her dream?
